The bearing dimension series is a combination of diameter series and width or height series that determines the main overall dimensions of a bearing.
According to GOST, the following diameter series are established: 0, 8, 9, 1, 7, 2, 3, 4, and 5. These series are arranged in order of increasing outer bearing diameter for the same inner diameter.
The width or height series include the values 7, 8, 9, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and are also arranged in order of increasing corresponding size. At the same time, series 0 is usually not indicated in the designation.
Non-standard bearings by inner diameter or width, or height, may have a diameter series designation of 6, 7, or 8, while the width or height series is not indicated separately.
For bearings with an inner diameter up to 10 mm, except for sizes 0.6, 1.5, and 2.5 mm, the following designation structure is used: the width series is indicated first, followed by the diameter series. For bearings with an inner diameter of 10 mm or more, except for sizes 22, 28, 32, and 500 mm or more, a similar designation principle is used, indicating the width series and diameter series in the established order.
